About the service
Infotech-Baltika M arranges international multimodal transport of bulk liquid chemical and petrochemical cargo, combining sea, rail and road transport into a single logistics chain.
The main directions are China, Türkiye and India. Depending on the geography of the delivery, the properties of the cargo and the terms of the foreign trade contract, we design the optimal route, define the transhipment points and arrange sea freight, terminal handling and inland transport operations.
We use tank containers from the company's operating fleet, which allow the product to be delivered by different modes of transport without being transferred between vessels at each change of vehicle.
Our specialists coordinate shipping lines, terminals, rail and road carriers and partner depots abroad. We monitor the execution of transport operations, the movement of equipment and compliance with the agreed logistics scheme.
When planning, we consider not only the cost of delivery but the total cost of carriage, terminal handling and the subsequent turnaround of the tank containers.
The client receives a single logistics solution with agreed terms of carriage, cost, timing and allocation of responsibility between the parties to the transport chain.
How we work
We obtain details of the product, volume, points of departure and destination, delivery terms and planned timing.
We check the properties of the product, the safety requirements and whether it can be carried in a tank container on the chosen direction.
We build the transport scheme, define the sea and inland legs, the transhipment points, the indicative timing and the cost.
We coordinate equipment supply, the work of carriers and terminals, and monitor the execution of the agreed transport operations.
We complete delivery within the agreed area of responsibility and arrange the further use or return of the tank container.
Why us
An own fleet of tank containers
The company's operating fleet holds more than 8,500 tank containers of various types. This makes it possible to plan equipment supply for international shipments and to manage its turnaround within the agreed logistics schemes.
Specialisation in chemical logistics
We work with bulk liquid chemical and petrochemical cargo, including hazardous products.
International geography
We arrange export and import shipments on the key directions of the chemical trade, China, Türkiye and India, using the port infrastructure of Russia and of the destination countries.
Partner infrastructure abroad
We work with depots and logistics partners in China, Türkiye and India, which allows equipment operations to be arranged at different stages of an international shipment.
Managing the whole transport chain
We coordinate sea, rail and road carriage, terminal handling and the movement of equipment.
Geography
We arrange export and import multimodal shipments of chemical and petrochemical cargo on international directions.

Russia
Far East: Nakhodka, Vostochny port; Wrangel, PPK-1 and MPT terminals. North-West: Great Port of Saint Petersburg; CTSP, Petrolesport, First Container Terminal, Bronka seaport. South of Russia: Novorossiysk; NUTEP container terminal.
The specific port, terminal and route are determined by the delivery terms, the properties of the cargo, the availability of a sea service and the requirements for handling hazardous products.
Cargo we carry
We specialise in international carriage of bulk liquid chemical and petrochemical products, including dangerous goods approved for carriage in tank containers.
Benzene and other aromatic hydrocarbons
Hexene and other liquid petrochemical products
Trimers and tetramers
Acrylic acid
including glacial, subject to the carriage requirements
Phenol
Other liquid chemical products
compatible with the equipment used and the available transport infrastructure
Non-hazardous liquid chemical products
To determine whether a product can be carried we need its exact name, the SDS/MSDS safety data sheet, the UN number where applicable, the hazard class and details of the temperature regime and any special transport conditions.
Tank container types
The main equipment is the standard 20-foot T11 tank container, intended for international carriage of compatible bulk liquid chemical products.
Capacity 24–26 m³
A design intended for carrying liquid chemical cargo in line with the applicable requirements.
No transfer of cargo
The product can be carried by road, rail and sea without being transferred between vessels.
Heating and insulation
Equipment with thermal insulation and a heating system may be used, depending on the specification of the particular container.
The tank container is selected according to the physical and chemical properties of the cargo, the requirements for loading and discharge operations, weight limits and the conditions of international transport. For products that need specialised equipment, carriage is considered case by case.
