Dmitry Medvedev has signified his approval of new developments by UVZ, in particular, of a production sample of the tank container made of polymer composites for transportation of chemical goods

According to corporation press service, “Dmitry Medvedev, the Head of the Russian Government, visited the stand of Research and Production Corporation Uralvagonzavod on the closing day of the X anniversary International Forum and Exhibition “Transport of Russia – 2016.”
Reportedly, the Prime Minister has visited the stand accompanied by Deputy PM of the Russian Government Arkady Dvorkovich, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maksim Sokolov, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, President of JSC Russian Railways Oleg Belozyorov.
Oleg Sienko, Chief Executive Officer of the corporation has demonstrated the Head of the Russian Government a production sample of the tank container KTsKh.PKM-25/0.4 made of polymer composites and intended for transportation of a wide range of chemical goods. It has been developed with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, while the batch production has been prepared with the support of the Industrial Development Fund.
The corporation representatives state that Andrey Shlensky, Deputy CEO for Railway Vehicles of RPC Uralvagonzavod, has point out that right after forum completion a full-scale specimen of the tank container will be sent for trial operation to the customer - Spectransgarant, LLC which has already acquired it. At present, KTsKh.PKM – 25/0.4 is successfully operated by JSC “Infotech-Baltika M” operator specialized in container transportation.
A boiler made of composites is the main distinguishing feature and competitive edge of the tank container. Their use made it possible to meet quite a number of challenges including tare weight reduction which resulted in higher load-bearing capacity. Apart from that, boiler internal corrosion is no longer an issue. As it appears from the statement, “this construction excludes the possibility of interaction between the container and cargo. After the cargo has been transported and dumped, the internal surface is merely treated with warm water and the container is ready for the next loading.”
“We place high expectations on this development,” said Andrey Shlensky. “A combination of high load-bearing capacity and low operating costs distinguish UVZ tank container from existing foreign metal counterparts. At the moment there is a high demand for various chemical cargoes on the shipping market. And the Russian tank container will cope with this demand without fail.”
At the solemn ceremony marking closure of “Transport of Russia – 2016” forum RPC Uralvagonzavod was awarded a diploma “For the design solution functionality and the best presentation of the hi-tech product.”
Research and Production Corporation “Uralvagonzavod” OJSC named after F.E. Exhibition “Chemistry-2016”

JSC "Infotech-Baltika M" takes part in the 19th International Exhibition of Chemical Industry and Science "Chemistry-2016", which is held from 19th to 22nd September 2016 in the Central Exhibition Complex "Expocentre".
The largest exhibition in the industry is held with the official support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

"Infotech-Baltika M" started carriage of cargo of JSC "Caustic" in innovative tank containers

JSC "Infotech-Baltika M" entered into a contract for transportation services with one of the largest producers of caustic soda and sodium hydroxide JSC "Caustic". A logistic scheme covering all the shipment stages was offered for the transportation of goods. Innovative tank containers with vessels made of polymer composite materials produced by scientific and production JSC “Uralvagonzavod”, are used for the first time for shipment of harsh chemicals - hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide (caustic soda).
"We have offered to one of the largest enterprises in the chemical industry a unique service not only by organizing all shipment stages, but also ensuring maximum safety of the cargo owing to innovative packaging made of composite materials", - said General Director of "Infotech-Baltika M" Alexander Alexeyev.
Decrease in value of cargo delivery in tank containers compared to cistern cars is achieved due to current tariff differences mentioned in the Price list # 10-01, as well as through universal design of tank container, which allows arranging multimodal transportation. A tank-container passes part of its route by rail, and then it is reloaded onto road transport and delivered actually to the client’s door.
The new model, in comparison with stainless steel counterparts, has a low tare weight (4.5 tons) and increased load capacity: having a gross weight of 36 tons as maximum, it can carry up to 31.5 tons of chemical cargoes. This is the best characteristic for container equipment (cubic capacity is 25 m3).

"Infotech-Baltika M" participated in the largest exhibition “Transport Logistic China 2016” held in Shanghai

One of the world's largest transport exhibitions was held in Shanghai from 14 to 16 June. Delegation of "Infotech-Baltika M" took part in the business program of the exhibition. In total, the exhibition was attended by over 450 companies from 65 countries this year. The main focus of attention of participants was directed to the latest technological solutions in the logistics segment. This year, a special forum on the development of transportation in tank containers was organized in the frameworks of the exhibition. It was attended by representatives of the largest Asian manufacturers of chemical goods.
