The tank container specification (T-codes) applies to dangerous goods of classes 1 to 9. T-codes provide the information needed on the provisions for portable tanks intended to carry particular types of cargo (substances). These provisions must comply with the general requirements of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods).
